Welcome to my writer’s page! I write from the heart of Appalachia, where the deep woods and quiet isolation provide the perfect backdrop for exploring the shadows. As a somewhat reclusive author, I find that the best stories—those steeped in suspense, cosmic dread, and fear of the unknown—often emerge from the quietest places, though I do enjoy a fun action scene from time to time.

I tend to focus on horror and dark storytelling. I was raised rather sheltered and was never encouraged to face my fears. As a result everything scared me. Over time I realized that I did not have to let fear control me. As a teen I began watching more horror movies and dissecting the genre, learning what made it tick and what made it resonate with its target audience. Once I broke the genre down to its core elements, I became a fan. My biggest fear, one I can’t seem to overcome, is the fear of failure. This webpage is my direct attempt to fight that fear head on. By putting myself out there more I aim to get rid of it altogether, or at the very least, quiet the voices in my head telling me I shouldn’t even try. I now hope to craft stories that others can enjoy and continue thinking about long after they’ve experienced it.

When I am not drafting new nightmares or world-building, I am usually enjoying losing myself in a good video game, movie, or book. Welcome to my corner of the woods. Feel free to take a look around. You might find something you like.
